Environmental Monitoring

Environmental monitoring by remote sensing is based on processing data and images acquired by sensors on satellites and other types of platforms, to extract information about targets on the earth’s surface, or processes of interest over time. We provide environmental monitoring services in five aspects: ecological index retrieval, environmental monitoring in protected areas, rural areas, urban areas and mining areas.

Disaster prevention and mitigation

Remotely sensed data can provide a valuable source of information for disaster management at different stages - reduction, readiness, response and recovery. Remote sensing techniques can be effective in reducing the risks of disasters and help in the identification of hazard zones and causes. VSAT provides disaster prevention and mitigation services in a variety of fields, e.g. wildfires, earthquakes, floods, droughts, etc.

Accurate Weather

An artificial earth satellite can conduct meteorological observations of the earth and its atmosphere from space. VSAT is planning a constellation of weather satellites to improve weather forecasting in terms of accuracy, frequency and coverage.

Space-Based Intelligence

Use various information technologies or innovative concepts to connect and integrate urban systems and services, so as to improve the efficiency of resource utilization, optimize urban management and services, and improve the quality of life of citizens.
